Bangkok venue now courts fitness racing events for visitors
Based on reporting by Travel Daily News Asia: IMPACT Muang Thong Thani positions Bangkok as a destination for international fitness racing

Bangkok is being boosted as a place for races that mix running with strength moves such as sled pushes, rowing and lunges. IMPACT Muang Thong Thani, one of Thailand's main exhibition and convention sites, is promoting its large halls for these fitness racing competitions.
The venue's connected indoor halls offer 60,000 square metres without columns, alongside additional indoor space in other exhibition halls. Beyond that, there are outdoor areas, two on-site hotels with a combined 967 rooms, and stops connected to the Pink Line rail network. The company's chief executive said the layout lets organisers arrange running routes, recovery zones and spectator areas all in one place.
An example arrives soon. On 31 October, IMPACT Exhibition Hall 5 hosts the LEGACY Race 2026 for adults aged 50 to 69, spread across two age categories with a limit of 350 competitors and activities starting at 08:00.
