Thailand shopping campaign now covers South Asian travellers
Based on reporting by Travel Daily News Asia: Thailand expands ASEAN India+ shopping campaign to boost visitor spending

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has begun the third edition of its ASEAN India+ Shoppers in Thailand campaign, carried out with the slogan 'MORE VALUE. MORE THAILAND.' It runs from September to November and involves over 50 retail, dining, hotel and lifestyle businesses around the country.
This version extends beyond ASEAN nations and India to also take in Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. TAT is looking to draw 30,000 participating tourists, secure a minimum of 10 million campaign views, and bring in tourism earnings of at least 244 million baht. Chosen perks at partner outlets are worth between 500 and 2,000 baht, as reported on 18 Oct 2026.
Visitors register by scanning the campaign's QR code or going to aseanindiashoppers.com, then choose the offers they want and use them at the relevant businesses. Promotions also show up at airports and in busy retail areas such as Pratunam, with staff on hand to assist visitors with sign-up and redemption.
What it means for travellers from India
- India is expressly part of this campaign, so Indian visitors can sign up for the same shopping, dining, accommodation and lifestyle privileges as other eligible markets.
- Offers are claimed by scanning a QR code or registering on aseanindiashoppers.com, after which travellers pick the benefits they want and use them at the partner businesses listed.
- The initiative is active from September to November, and participating outlets are spread nationwide rather than limited to large urban shopping centres.
