Dubai Marina's Grosvenor House praised for attentive service and new spa
Based on reporting by The National: Grosvenor House Dubai review: Refined five-star luxury and stellar service

A recent review finds that Grosvenor House, a Luxury Collection Hotel in Dubai Marina, continues to hold its own against the city's steady stream of newer five-star openings. The reviewer describes it as traditional luxury that knows how to do it well rather than chasing every new trend.
What stood out most was the staff. From check-in to housekeeping, restaurants and the spa, service was warm, attentive and never overbearing. Small requests were remembered, and staff members recalled earlier conversations and asked how meals and treatments had gone.
The stay included a room looking out over the marina and towards the sea, plus dinners at Rhodes W1 and Toro Toro and breakfast at Sloane's. At Toro Toro, a Venezuelan sweetcorn pancake called cachapas was a highlight. A shared massage at the recently updated Sanara Spa, with Japanese-inspired interiors plus a hammam, sauna, steam room, Jacuzzi and plunge pools, was also singled out.
What it means for travellers from India
- This is described as an established, traditional five-star stay rather than the minimalist style of some newer Dubai hotels, useful for those who prefer a classic luxury feel.
- The breakfast at Sloane's included plenty of Asian and Indian options, alongside eggs, pastries, Arabic dishes and fruit.
- Much of the praise centres on consistent service, so travellers may want to weigh that against newer, trendier openings when choosing where to stay in Dubai Marina.
