Cruise terminal in Singapore to stage music and murals
Based on reporting by TTG Asia: Marina Bay Cruise Centre to showcase Singapore arts

Singapore's marina cruise terminal will host live shows and paintings under a fresh arrangement between its operator and the country's arts body. SATS-Creuers Cruise Services and the National Arts Council have entered into a three-year deal to fill the facility with cultural works, letting local creators connect with people passing through.
Live music is planned for selected busy cruise windows, covering first-time port calls, festival seasons and stretches when local schools are on break. New and current wall areas will carry modern murals as well. One earlier piece at the site, a work titled Manifest by Singaporean painter Eunice Hannah Lim, is built around the nation's seafaring past and traditions. A moving, animated form of this artwork will meet visitors at the enlarged terminal and point them to the complete mural, which holds sea life together with nautical and cultural symbols.
This comes after the terminal grew in 2025, adding capacity and extra floor area that made room for such displays.
What it means for travellers from India
- Passengers arriving or departing through Marina Bay Cruise Centre may see live music and murals inside the terminal.
- Performances are scheduled around peak periods, including school holidays and festive seasons, so timing may decide what is on view.
- The arts displays are a chance to see Singapore culture before leaving the terminal, at no extra step in the journey.
